I’m so excited that it’s finally Winter and the Christmas spirit begins. Christmas is definitely my favourite time of the year. I usually start listening to Christmas music in September and stop listening to it in February (You can recognize I like Christmas a lot!!). I had the idea of doing this sort of blog post in mind for weeks, that is why I’m super happy to be finally able to share my Christmas decoration ideas with you.

One key thing is to make your home cozy and festive. Light up some candles, put fairy lights everywhere so you can feel “christmassy” even though your Winter Wonderland outside is not quite there yet.

There’re many ways to decorate your house for the Christmas season. I always love putting some stars on my shelves, or even some baubles and also as you can see in my photos, I put reindeers in certain places. You can play out all your desires of colour and glitter and use gold and silver to make it look all festive.

The good thing is you don’t have to remove anything from your decorations you had hung before but you can change it to something else. What I like to do is to change my frames into some Christmas sheet metal sign. Also, fireplace consoles are the coziest thing in the world and you can decorate them easily. I recommend spending your money on such a console because it makes everything look so much more put together and you can decorate it to every season.

Furthermore, an advent calendar and an advent wreath is a must for Christmas. There you can let your imagination run free put in whatever you think the other person would like and find a nice place for it to match your other decoration bits. For your wreath, you can either use an actual fir wreath or put four candles on a tray and for instance some pinecones between it.
